Hi, I'm Alyssa! I'm a graphic designer and illustrator based in Seattle. I moved here from Oʻahu in 2017, and to Oʻahu from Tokyo in 2005. I grew up a latchkey kid, splitting time between a quiet island with my mom and a crowded city with my grandparents. That back-and-forth shaped how I see and build visual worlds.

I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember. Sometimes I stopped. But it always found its way back in.

A few years ago, after too many shifts in cafes, I decided to go back to school. I got my degree in graphic design and haven’t looked back since.
